Description of the work

The work Uh 26, created by the artist Larisa Tinta, is configured as a vibrant and dense visual map of human knowledge, where written knowledge becomes a driver of evolution, inclusion and social awareness. The composition develops vertically, guiding the observer on an ascending journey that starts from the concreteness of the page to expand towards the universe of thought.

At the base of the painting is a large open book, the root and source of the entire visual flow. On the left page, the artist reports a famous classical aphorism ("Paper is more patient than men"), while on the right page she engraves her own personal reflection on the value of memory and learning: "What you have read is just as important as what you will write". This phrase by Larisa Tinta seals the indissoluble link between the knowledge inherited from the past and the creative action of the future.

From the pages of the volume emanates a dynamic system of red filaments which, like synapses or channels of vital sap, lift and transport ideas upwards. Numerous microcosms enclosed in spheres float on the blue background, rich in complex ethical and narrative symbolism:

* Equality and inclusion: The formula x=y at the center of the painting rises as a mathematical and universal symbol of gender equality. This search for social justice is also reflected in the large puzzle piece, whose different shades of brown and ocher represent skin colors, transforming the interlocking into a powerful manifesto against racism and in favor of unity among peoples.

• Fantasy and myth: Within a marine sphere, the figure of the octopus guarding a treasure chest is not just a naturalistic element, but represents the universe of invented books and heroic adventures, celebrating the power of fantasy narrative to guard treasures of imagination.
• 

* Science, ecology and economy: The planet Earth seen from space dominates the upper part, flanked by chemical formulas, pie charts, color scales and symbols of global currencies.

* All other spheres in the painting represent ideas, research, worlds and realities yet to be discovered.

With Uh 26, Larisa Tinta combines a pop and illustrative aesthetic with strong conceptual layering. The painting sends a powerful message: culture, gender equality, ethnic inclusion and the power of imagination are the only tools capable of generating a global and harmonious understanding of our world.
