DNA Hormone 2024 Acrylic and mixed media on paper, total 9 pieces, single format with a diptych, all 33cm x 48cm
It all started in 2023 when, after a sudden weight gain, I decided to see an endocrinologist. I was immediately diagnosed with subclinical hyperthyroidism, apparently an autoimmune disorder that requires lifelong monitoring.
It's an upgrade of vintage paintings. Creation 2024 consists of 11 paintings on canvas and then glued to glass, framed in 80s-90s style gold frames. The artwork measures 29x15cm each.
The "Mare e Monti" 2024 Collection is a collection of works that were created outside in the open air, with people watching—some to understand what I was doing, some to learn how I was working, and still others who pushed the envelope and asked questions.
