They say that an artist is born an artist, and as time passes I'm almost sure that's the case. I believe my creative journey began with makeup and the creation of bracelets which I will tell you about in another article.
I'm very aware of my first memory of wearing makeup. It was the end of the 80s and I was around 5 years old, and my mother had come to visit me at my grandparents' house in the countryside, where I usually spent the whole summer. Mom wore very little makeup with a little pencil and lipstick. I remember she had to go back to work and she was getting ready, and while she was putting on lipstick she put it on me too. I still remember that scent of roses and the pearly powder pink color. I liked it so much that I took it out of my bag without telling him, then put it on in secret every day.
Then after a few years I replaced my dolls with an eye makeup palette that a little girl my age, who lived in the same building as me, showed me.
Growing up makeup has always been a must have, must do, and dare I say a lifestyle. I started wearing makeup every day when I was thirteen. But the turning point, if I can call it that, was after 2015 when I discovered that there were videos on the internet teaching how to apply makeup. After having experimented and tried all imaginable products, I felt that I was not informed or trained enough and decided to attend various training courses to become a Make-up Artist. And so I started from scratch. In the following years I learned everything to become a beautician, from massages to manicures, from face and body treatments to skin diseases, and finally I specialized in make-up and specifically make-up for daytime and special occasions.
I have participated in hundreds of masterclasses and workshops, national and international (Romania, Russia, USA, etc.) where I learned different techniques and also how to apply makeup with an airbrush. I had thus become a true Certified Make-up Artist.
But after all this I liked to do makeup like this, creative, colorful with personality:

Often seeing my creations, friends would compliment me with phrases like: "Wow you're an artist, it looks like a painting!" and "What a shame that you will have to remove make-up from this masterpiece"; These types of statements made me think it was time to finally do what I've always wanted to do.
Then I changed the brushes and replaced the face with canvas.
Make-up will always remain my first love and I will continue to do it but only for myself.
Thank you for reading this article, there are many more to read. And if you liked them, leave a comment and share with your friend who loves art!
