  • The meanings of colors

  • The chrome armour

Color , the definition: 1 Light composed of electromagnetic radiation of one or more specific wavelengths; the color of a body is determined by the wavelength of the radiation it reflects.

The rainbow is one of the most fascinating phenomena involving colors in nature. It forms when sunlight passes through water droplets in the air, acting like a prism that separates light into various colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. The beauty of the rainbow is not just limited to its aesthetics, it also represents a complex physical phenomenon that has fascinated scientists for centuries.

Chromotherapy and psychological effects Color has a significant influence on the human psyche and can influence mood, feelings and behaviour. Chromotherapy, or color therapy, uses these effects to promote mental and physical well-being . Colors can also have physiological effects such as increasing blood pressure and can also influence our mood. This practice takes place in special centers and is based on the idea that specific colors can be used to correct energy imbalances in the body and improve health.

Red can increase blood pressure and stimulate energy.

Orange often used to attract attention, stimulates mental and creative activity.

Yellow is the color that promotes communication, but used excessively can cause anxiety.

Green reduces stress, improves concentration and connects with nature.

Blue, associated with calm and confidence, can lower heart rate and blood pressure.

The favorite purple of women, perfectionist and philanthropist, stimulates creativity, meditation and has a certain degree of vanity. This color is also the color of loneliness and linked to the sense of abandonment.

White is a pure, bright, sterile, immaculate, innocent color, a clean table.

Black on a psychological level means blockage, opposition, protest.

These meanings can vary and be subjective to factors such as personal memories and cultural associations.

Remember that, although chromotherapy can offer benefits, it is always best to consult a health professional for issues related to physical and mental well-being .

Color scheme is a discipline that studies how colors influence a person's appearance based on their natural chromatic characteristics.

The colors in nature are a true spectacle that offers an infinite range of shades and shades. Green is abundant in plants due to chlorophyll, which absorbs light for photosynthesis. Often found in flowers the blue and purple helps attract pollinating animals. Red and orange common in many fruits, serve to signal ripeness and attract animals to disperse the seeds. Brown and gray colors typical of the ground and rocks, offer camouflage to many animals.

In 2020 - 2021 I had the opportunity to study and delve deeper into everything related to color harmony , morphology and style, during a training course. This experience and these studies brought me even closer to colors and so I managed to love all colors, understanding that each color has its role, energy and power to enhance or hide.

According to color harmony, people can be classified into four main categories, or "seasons", each with a color palette that best suits their natural appearance. Here is a brief overview for each season.

  • Winter: Winter people usually have a cool skin undertone and may have dark hair and bright eyes. The key colors for this season are saturated and vibrant like deep red, pure white and navy blue.
  • Spring: People of this season often have a warm, bright undertone. The ideal colors for this season are warm shades such as coral, peach and light turquoise.
  • Summer: Those who belong to the summer season usually have a cold undertone and delicate colors. The friendly colors for this season are soft and dusty like antique pink, sky blue and lavender.
  • And finally Autumn: With a warm and deep undertone the people of this season have the following colors as allies: burnt orange, caramel, olive green and rich and earthy autumn colors.

In addition to these four main seasons, armochromy also includes subgroups that offer greater specificity, leading to a total of sixteen possible combinations, taking into account variations such as temperature, intensity and chromatic value.

Color matching is an excellent tool for choosing clothes, accessories and makeup that best enhance a person's natural characteristics, thus improving self-confidence and the general harmony of the appearance.
